ANTIGODDESS ARCs are here! So I’m giving some away!

So, this title is pretty self-explanatory. I have ARCs of ANTIGODDESS, and I'm giving some away. Three of them, this first round. I'll do a second round later, when I'm not so frazzled in between travel and can think of something fun (for myself) to do with it.

Here's a crappy photo to serve as physical proof of their existence:

ANTIGODDESS ARCs
Here's how to enter! First, qualifications. 1. Be a reader. Are you a reader? Excellent. Then you are kickass, and have an unalienable right to walk shoulders back and nose to ceiling.

Now, for the actual how: Leave a comment here. And/Or at the official ANTIGODDESS Facebook page. This gives you the ability to enter TWICE. And I would so much appreciate if you would like the page. Never done one of these here Facebook pages for the books before. Anna has one, but someone else set it up, and that is awesome.

Wait, wait, there's more how. In your comment, you have to tell me your favorite deity. Can be a Greek god, or their Roman counterpart, or Egyptian, or Hindu, or Norse, or whatever. It can be She-Ra. She totally counts. It can be Batman. Why not? But if you say The Wonder Twins, there will be debate.

Three ARCs are up for grabs. I hope you enjoy the read. I hope you enjoy it enough to recommend it to others, or ask your local library to stock it. If you happen to enjoy it enough to pre-order, remember I'm doing bookplates for everyone who emails me with their order info (not like credit card info or personal stuff, just where you ordered!) to kendareblake@yahoo.com. US only, because, postage. Which reminds me.

This giveaway is US only. Winners will be randomly drawn on Thursday, May 9th!!! And thank you so much, for wanting to give ANTIGODDESS a try.

I love your books and my favorite Egyptian god is Khonsu who had power over the moon and time. He was also known as a healer so that makes him pretty cool to me.

    1. I’m totally a reader. Some have said that it’s a problem of mine. 2. Commented on fb. I feel like you know who I am.

Seeing I’m from Wisconsin I feel like I should go with my favorite deity is Bubona, the goddess of cattle. Alas, I am going with Luna. I am a night person.

Thanks for the giveaway and the chance. Stop being so awesome.

Thanks for the giveaway…and my favorite Goddess is Athena, she is just kick butt all the way. Please she is the goddess of wisdom, who doesn’t want wisdom on their side.

But totally She-ra, I love you, you just made my day with that comment. I grew up with She-ra, I even had a doll and her horse that I played with all the time.

Okay, I’m a real nerd for Greek gods and goddess so it’s hard for me to pick my favorite. But I think I’m going to have to pick Athena.

    Favorite Deity

My son says Hades. That’s our favorite Deity. I suppose I’ll agree with him because among the Greek/Roman gods I’d never be able to pick a favorite. Ra- isn’t that the Sun God in Egypt? I like the sun. Oh, I loved Isis!! When I was a kid there was a show about Isis and the woman was just like Wonder Woman but she would put on a gold pendant thing and say “Oh Mighty Isis!” And she’d turn into this superwoman that could defend anyone, find the truth from lies etc. It made me want to be an archaeologist because she found it on a dig. So I like Isis.

  28. Anonymous says:

My favourite deity is probably Greek. I love the beauty of their Underworld myths.

  29. Anonymous says:

I a big fan of Persephone! Any one who puts up with Hades is a wonder. 🙂

I’m an apathiest, so I don’t have a favorite god, although Thalia, the muse of comedy comes closest. When someone comes up with a god of naps, cats, and lying around reading, I’ll happily worship her.

    Warrior & Wise… Definitely, Athena.

I like a lot of deities. Like Hecate, Isis, Athena, Hathor, Gaia, Bastet, Hermes, Horus, Kuan Yin, Tara, Kali, Apollo, Thoth, and Anubis..etc. Or there are just deities I like mostly for the stories their apart of. Like Rhiannon and her magical steed. Artemis going off into the wild on her own at age 3. Icarus and his fall. A young Hermes tricking Apollo. Estsanatlehi (Changing Woman) walking towards the east until she sees her young self. Odin the wanderer. And also the Three Graces and The Muses.

I’m a bit of a mythology nut and interested in all of them. Antigoddess is one of the books I’m looking forward to this year. Also there seems to be quite a few mythology fiction books being published lately!

    1. Re: Entering

Hey! You won! And wow, you really are quite the mythology nut. So I hope you enjoy ANTIGODDESS. Email me your mailing info: kendareblake@yahoo.com!

Odin for sure but honorable mention to Xena cause she is so a goddess in my eyes!

Oh yes and sawcats avatar made me swoon I loved that guy in the tv mini series Alice!

  59. Anonymous says:

I love mythology so this question is very hard for me. I’d chose Athena because of her wisdom and refusal to be dominate by men. Or Zeus because he’s the one in charge. That power has to be good for something. There’s also Artemis. Who doesn’t love being free? Okay. So maybe that’s three. Well… if I must really choose… Artemis is my favorite.

  60. akalillyn says:

I’m so excited! My favorite is the Japanese Amaterasu!

    deity

First off, had to look up what “deity” meant. Maybe this makes me unworthy of entering this drawing. Also, I’m not really hip to all this greek, roman, egyption god stuff so I am kindof at a loss. Maybe this also makes me unworthy. Alas, I’ve decided I will pick a real person, in real life, so my vote is Howard Stern who is the King (or we could say God) of radio. Does he count?
